Some heroes are considered niche or balanced, but heroes that are not S or A rated should not be considered poor. You can win any game with any hero, but this list is designed to present you the strongest.

Heroes of the Storm Tier List
- Tier S-Powerful.
Heroes are often the first choice, the first banned material and considered the highest tier.
- Tier A-Slightly powerful.
These heroes are slightly stronger than average, but still shine by a few powerful heroes.
- Step B-Balance.
These heroes are average and generally a sure choice.
- Step C-Slightly lacking
This hero is slightly weaker than a normal hero, but you can still do it with your right hand.
- Tier D-Low Power.
It is considered weak. These heroes need more effort than most heroes.
Move rating list
- De Swing was initially placed on the tier
A powerful hero that’s very difficult to play when a fellow’s shelled and damaged. Once the meta is settled, the hierarchy can change.
- Sia Cassia moved to Class A.
A fairly safe hero due to reduced physical damage.
- Guldan moved to A + grade
Skill floor is very low but skill limit is high and powerful DPS.
- El Kael’Thas moved to step S
A hero that is very difficult to deal with because of the threat of spreading a living bomb.
- Ad Muradin moved to A + rating
It’s very hard to kill with a very solid all round tank. It doesn’t stop the game, but it’s always a definite choice. Hir Qhira has moved to A grade. Heroes difficult to play effectively. If the player knows himself and lmiits, it can be A +.
- Valeera moved to layer B
Can be a S grade in the hands of skilled and smart players.
- Zul’jin moved to A grade.
Very easy hero to pick up and play. Powerful continuous auto attack DPS.
- Abathur moved to the A + rating
He tries to see the same value as other powerful heroes on most play levels and on many maps. He can be Stier on certain maps and in higher level games.
- Ana moved to A + rating
She is difficult to play effectively but is a very powerful healer. Excellent positioning allows it to be rated S in the hands of the player.
- Anub’arak has moved to A grade.
Anub Arak is a solid tank, but in most situations it outperforms other tanks. If his Cocoon gains tremendous value, he can be an S rating for certain heroes.
- Auriel moved to A grade.
Powerful heroes but alliance heroes with the best DPS output should do their best. If paired with a strong persistent DPS, it may be an A + tier.
- Azmodan moved to B grade.
It can be a big map and an A + rating on the right side.
- Chen moved to A + rating.
His lasting and ability to interrupt enemies with damage can be a major hindrance to enemy teams.
- Diablo moved to A grade.
Diablo needs to establish a strong position so that he is away from the wall that will stun the enemy. It can be A + grade in your right hand.
- E.T.C. Moved to A + rating.
Rugged all-round tank that will fit all teams.
- Genji moved to A grade.
A hero that needs a lot of patience so Swift Strike can wait for a good chance to kill him. Can be S + rating in the hands of a very strong player.
- Illidan moved to layer B.
Very difficult heroes have a high level of effect. In the correct configuration and a large map can be S-tier. Heroes who praise Illidan are Tassadar, Abathur and Kharazim.
- Jaina moved to A grade.
Difficult heroes to play effectively. It can be an S layer with the right configuration.
- Johanna moved to the A + rating.
It’s a very safe tank that can attack enemy teams with less risk.
- Kharazim moved to the B tier.
It can be difficult to get the maximum effect from him. Experienced players can become A + tiers.
- Maiev moved to A grade.
Very difficult hero to play effectively. It can be an S + rating when one of the best players plays.

- Tassadar moved to layer B.

Tyrande shines in Kill Comfort, which can continue the CC chain and make the enemy vulnerable. Unfortunately, most teams struggle to put CC together. It can be an S layer in the correct configuration.
- Valla moved to the B tier.
A hero with very low health to avoid all enemy abilities. You can become Stier when paired with Tassadar or in a survivable composition like a double healer composition.
- Zeratul moved to A grade.
Zeratul’s early game weakness can cause the team to fall behind early. If you follow an enemy team late in the game, you’ll be rewarded with a S-like hero on your right hand.
